Opportunity Description
Our company provides consulting and software development services around Microsoft business technologies (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot & AI, Azure, etc.). These are all market leading and popular technologies that are rapidly growing.
This job involves contacting select contacts within potential target clients. The target clients are companies that typically have 200-2000 employees. Target contacts are those in IT as well as C-suite executives (CxO) and other senior management leaders.
The job involves inquiring about their interest in services surrounding these Microsoft products, then introducing our offerings, and setting up a web meeting for us to further continue the conversation with an interested potential client and help to close the sale.
USP (Why products/services better that competitors): Our company provides consulting and development services around Microsoft business technologies (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot & AI, Azure, etc.). These are all market leading and popular technologies that are rapidly growing. This job involves contacting select contacts within potential target clients, inquiring about their interest in services surrounding these products, introducing our offerings and setting up a web meeting for us to further continue the conversation with the potential client and help to close the sale. Our company has history back to the beginning of these products (SharePoint version 1-beta in 2001), and our staff is comprised of senior and highly experienced resources that collectively cover all of these Microsoft products and services with great breadth and depth.
Commission payment details: Our company bills resource talent on an hourly basis to the client. The commission is based on the profit of the resource (i.e. cost of the resource and hourly rate billed to the client). The commission paid is typically in the $20-35/hour, but could range from $15-55/hour. (You would participate in the quoting process, so would have input in this.) While each project varies greatly, projects could range from small ( 50 - 100 hours, 1 resource, small engagement) to a few thousand hours (multiple resources on a larger project). There is typically good follow up opportunity with the client for add-on or new work. Client companies are typically those with 200 - 2000 employees, but we regularly do work for companies that are larger as well.

About training : These Microsoft products and services are universally utilized by most all companies to varying degrees. The main sales effort is uncovering needs around these products and services. We will conduct a series of training sessions (typically three sessions) to bring the sales person up-to-date on the use of these products and the typical opportunities presented by the cilent. Follow on training will be provided as needed.
