We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated B2B Sales Specialist to expand our footprint in the [Industry] sector. This is a 100% commission-based role (Independent Contractor) offering uncapped earning potential for a “closer” who understands the Texas business landscape.
Lead Generation: Prospect and qualify small-to-medium businesses (SMB) and large commercial industrial (C&I) accounts through cold calling, door-to-door networking, and. ● Market Analysis: Compare pricing and contract terms from 10+ Retail Electric Providers (REPs) including NRG, Gexa, and Hudson ● Consultative Selling: Present customized energy proposals that highlight cost savings, price stability (fixed-rate), or green energy options. ● Contract Management: Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution and enrollment. ● Retention: Manage renewals for existing clients to ensure continued residual commission. Required Skills & Qualifications ● Experience: Ni sales experience required but prefereed 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience (Energy, Telecom, Merchant Services, or Insurance preferred). ● Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Texas deregulated energy market (ERCOT) and various contract types (Fixed, Index, Block & Index). ● Grit: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a high volume of daily activity (40–60 “touches” per day). ● Technical Literacy: Proficiency with
