Role Overview: Local Business Development Partner (Independent Contractor)

We are seeking independent, self-motivated Local Business Development Partners to be a part of our founding team of marketing specialists in the Morristown, Ledgewood, Wayne, Totowa, Pompton Plains, Hawthorne, Butler and Prospect Park NJ markets. This is an exciting ground floor opportunity to launch a new local brand and
business model.
As a Local Business Development Partner, you’ll work directly with small, locally owned businesses to help them grow their visibility and attract new customers through affordable, high-impact advertising solutions.
As an independent contractor, you will introduce and sell hyper-local advertising solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. You’ll also offer additional critical services such as website development, social media management, and Google Business Profile optimization for businesses in need of these services that
can’t staff or hire these positions themselves.
This is a part-time or full-time, commission-based opportunity ideal for someone entrepreneurial who enjoys relationship-building and helping local businesses thrive.
Responsibilities
● Identify and recruit local businesses to host digital screens that display rotating ads
● Sell advertising spots to businesses looking to reach nearby customers through these screens
● Offer and sell additional digital services, including:
o Website creation
o Social media page setup and management
o Google Business Profile support
● Maintain your own outreach schedule and pipeline
● Educate potential customers on the benefits and ROI of hyper-local screen-based advertising
What You’ll Need
● Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to self-manage
● Strong local knowledge and community connections
● Confidence in speaking with small business owners
● Sales, customer service, or local marketing experience preferred but not required
● Access to a phone, computer, and reliable internet
● Reliable transportation for local meetings
Compensation
● Flat fees per sale:
o For each screen hosting partner signed
o For each advertising package sold
o For each add-on digital service sold
● Renewal bonuses for recurring advertising or service clients
Note: Commission rates discussed during interview process
Time Commitment
● Flexible hours: Set your own schedule
● Ideal commitment: 20 to 35
hours per week
● No minimum quota required, though success depends on proactive outreach
● 3 days paid training provided
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. There are no hourly wages, benefits, or reimbursements for
time worked. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses.

USP (Why products/services better that competitors): This is a franchise backed by a large Franchisor who offers tremendous support including training, creative needs, technical needs and marketing packages. This is a niche business opportunity offering local businesses access to the local customer base and giving them tools to thrive. The pricing on advertising packages and website services are perfect for these small to midsize businesses.

Commission payment details: The opportunity comes with a sign on bonus and quarterly bonuses for hitting sales targets. The commission structure starts at 20% with an opportunity to reach 30% based on hitting target sales goals. Commission is also paid on all website services the company requests such as ecommerce sites, social media support, digital marketing and more. This is a start up and the compensation will grow as the business grows.

Desirable sales methods : Telesales, Door to Door (Face to Face), Online sales

Products/services sales agents required to sell under this opportunity: The goal is to approach local businesses with the opportunity to hang a complimentary TV screen in their establishment and secure free advertising on other screens. Once enough TV's are secured the selling of advertising begins. There is a large market to sell advertising opportunities to that do not have stores and are service businesses. The rates are extremely reasonable and you have a tremendous offering to sell. This job requires cold calling local businesses in the designated territory and visiting in person to meet and explain the concept. Research needs to be done to secure the proper contacts and grassroot marketing in specific towns is the key to success.

About training : Extensive trainings consisting of webinars and in person. All marketing materials, phone number, website, ipad and more will be supplied free of charge for this position.
